Ballina Shire Council Opens Fundraising, Community Engagement

Fundraising and Community Engagement Opportunity

Ballina Shire Council is excited to offer an opportunity that combines fundraising with community engagement. Council extends an invitation for Expressions of Interest from community groups and sporting clubs to distribute the Community Connect Magazine to 15,000 urban households across Ballina Shire.

"With distribution occurring seven times a year, local community group or sporting club can establish connections with 15,000 urban households. This initiative will not only contribute to an organisation's fundraising activities, but also encourages members to embrace fitness by increasing walking activity or integrating it into their existing training schedule" said Acting Coordinator Communications, Amanda Downs

Since 2020, the Rainbow Region Dragon Boat Club has taken on the crucial role of distributing Community Connect Magazine, ensuring essential updates and successful fundraising for the Club. Now, the time has come to pass the torch to another community group.
