Work is continuing on stage two of Council's project to build new paths, crossings and other pedestrian infrastructure upgrades along Jindabyne's Barry Way.
Earthworks, minor vegetation removals and work to raise existing stormwater drains will be underway between Jillamatong Street and Reedys Cutting Road from Monday 14 September 2026-weather permitting.
This project will deliver a safe active transport corridor between Jindabyne's residential and commercial centres and the new education campus, helping to improve local road safety and providing better access to public transport for the whole community.
Changes to traffic conditions on Barry Way will continue and traffic control measures will remain in place until all work is complete. Local property access will be unaffected.

- Full concrete bus stop pads, wide pavement
- Barry Way excavation and earthworks
- Raised pedestrian crossing designed and directed by NSW Department of Education on Jillamatong Street (already complete)
