BASSINTHEGRASS 2023 set times drop

NT Government

It's the details thousands of music fans have been waiting for - the BASSINTHEGRASS set times have dropped, so festival goers can now start planning their day at the Territory's largest music festival.

Australia's hottest acts are ready to get the party started in the afternoon at Mindil Beach on Saturday, 20 May, and continue the vibes well into the night across the two stages, Tropical and Palm.

Kicking things off when the gates open at 1pm will be some of the Territory's best talent, Territory Artist Competition winners Bella Maree and Prayer Corby.

On the Tropical Stage, Steph Strings will be followed by LDRU, and Peach PRC will take to the stage in the afternoon. Alternative psychedelic rock band Ocean Alley will set the scene as the sun dips into the Arafura Sea.

On the Palm Stage, Territory rap superstar Baker Boy will get the crowds jumping with his catchy bi-lingual tunes as the sun sets, followed by Guy Sebastian and Spacey Jane.

Wrapping up BASS, which is delivered by Northern Territory Major Events Company, will be Australian music heavy weights Angus & Julia Stone on the Tropical Stage and The Presets on the Palm Stage.

Other entertainment includes the Somersby Silent Disco, running from 4pm to 11pm, and the Good Tides Sunset Beach Club from 4pm to 7pm - both are must-do activities to include in any BASS game plan.

Final Release BASSINTHEGRASS tickets are on sale now for $140, plus booking fee. Visit [http://www.bassinthegrass.com.au].

Quotes from Minister for Major Events, Paul Kirby:

"The Dry is well and truly here and what better way to celebrate than soak up the atmosphere and good times at the Territory's largest music festival BASSINTHEGRASS.

"This event is a rite of passage for Territorians, and increasingly for interstate music fans, with thousands of tickets sold to people from all over Australia. They will be out and about exploring everything the Territory has to offer, which is great news for our economy."
