Bayswater North warrant

Police from Croydon Divisional Tasking Unit and Knox Uniform have arrested three people after executing a warrant in Bayswater North today.

Uniform members attended an address in Waratah Avenue about 1pm as part of an ongoing investigation.

As they entered the property a member of the public informed them that someone was hiding under the car in the driveway.

Officers checked under the car and located allegedly stolen property.

Three people then ran from the premises and were arrested by police.

A warrant was then executed by Croydon DTU members and an allegedly stolen motorcycle, stolen registration plates, stolen electrical goods, prohibited weapons and a large quantity of drugs was found.

Police charged two 34-year-old men and a 27-year-old woman, all from Bayswater North with theft, drugs and weapons offences and remanded them to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 27 December.

Acting Sergeant David Sanders was happy with the result.

"We will continue to target individuals within the community undertaking these nefarious activities" he said.
