Better Access to Lakes Ramps Up Water Fun

Now motor boat users, jet skiers, canoeists and kayakers have much safer and easier access to the water on the beautiful Chipping Norton Lakes thanks to Council and Boating NSW investing $714,000 to reconstruct the boat ramp, roadway and carpark entrance at Floyd Bay, Lansvale.

This new boat ramp is safer and meets updated standards and be able to accommodate heavier vehicle and trailer combinations than before.

The manmade lakes – former sand mines filled from water from the Georges River – are a recreational jewel in our City. The City now has two boat ramps with Council also upgrading Bradbury Wharf in 2019.
