A body, believed to be that of a man reported missing from Chastwood, has been located.
The 42-year-old was last seen in Chatswood on Saturday 13 May 2023.
When he could not be located or contacted, the man was reported missing to officers from the North Shore Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following inquiries, the body of a man was located during a search today (Tuesday 23 May 2023).
While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the 42-year-old man.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
