Boeing Pledges $200K for Texas Flood Recovery

ARLINGTON, Va., July 9 -- Boeing (NYSE: BA) is donating $200,000 from the Boeing Charitable Trust to assist with recovery and relief efforts in the aftermath of devastating flooding in central Texas.

Funding will support the following organizations:

"We extend our heartfelt condolences to those who are grappling with unimaginable loss and uncertainty in the aftermath of the flooding," said Jeff Shockey, executive vice president of Boeing Government Operations, Global Public Policy, and Corporate Strategy. "With Boeing teammates in the region personally feeling the impacts of this tragedy, we deeply appreciate the work of our local partners who are supporting a pathway to recovery."

"We are thankful for Boeing's support for our communities impacted by the recent floods," said Maj. Jeremiah Romack, commander of Salvation Army, San Antonio Area Command. "The Salvation Army is dedicated to addressing both the immediate and long-term needs of the community, and this mission is only possible with your partnership. We truly appreciate your generous contribution and for helping us assist our neighbors in need."

In addition to corporate charitable investments, Boeing employees give to their local communities through their local Boeing Employees Community Fund chapter and by participating in volunteer and charitable gift match programs. Consistent with Boeing employee gift match programs, the company will match qualifying employee contributions made in support of flood relief efforts.

Disaster recovery and relief efforts align with Boeing's ongoing commitment to the communities where the company has a presence. Boeing employs more than 7,300 people in Texas, and in 2024, provided $7.9 million in charitable contributions across the state. In 2024, Boeing donated $3.8 million to recovery and relief efforts globally.
