Booragoon Serious Crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash which occurred in Booragoon on Tuesday, 9 April 2024.

About 5.25pm, a silver Toyota C-HR hatchback was turning onto Marmion Street from Aldous Place when it collided with a cyclist riding eastbound on Marmion Street.

The 51-year-old male cyclist sustained critical injuries in the crash and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment.

The 27-year-old female driver of the Toyota hatchback was not injured.

Major Crash investigators are appealing for anyone who saw this crash, or the cyclist, or silver Toyota C-HR hatchback travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
