Brazil Institute academic shares insights on teaching with Brazilian educators

Dr Arthur Galamba, Lecturer in Science Education and Deputy Director of the King's Brazil Institute, spoke about our STEM Education Hub and PGCE programme at the Bett Show in São Paulo.

Presenting to over 700 educators from all sectors across Brazil, Dr Arthur Galamba hoped to inspire those working in education by sharing details about the structure of King's PGCE programme at King's, with a special focus on mentoring, praxis, and the Teacher Standards.

He also presented on the work of the STEM Education Hub, a project developed in partnership between KBI and the British Council Brazil to foster collaborations researchers and teachers in Brazil and the UK in STEM teaching.

By speaking at the high-profile event in Brazil, Galamba also hoped to raise awareness about King's Brazil Institute and the School of Education, Communication & Society, as well as attract further students and supporters of the departments.
