Break and enters at Rockhampton

Detectives have released footage in relation to a stolen vehicle that ram raided two businesses in northern Rockhampton this morning.

Around 3.25am light-coloured station wagon was used to ram a pharmacy on Dean Street, Frenchville.

Nothing was stolen from the pharmacy and the vehicle fled the scene.

At 3.40am a stolen silver Holden Acadia was deliberately driven into the front of a bottle shop on Farm Steet, Norman Gardens.

A quantity of alcohol and the till were stolen, with the offenders fleeing the scene in another vehicle, believed to be a white hatchback.

The Holden Arcadia was left at the scene.

The Holden Acadia was stolen from a Mills Avenue, Frenchville address on April 14 and has been towed for police forensic examination.

There was extensive damage caused to both businesses.

Police believe the two incidents may be linked.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who has further information or has relevant vision in the Frenchville and Norman Gardens areas between 3am and 4am to contact police.
