Billy Blue College of Design at Torrens University Australia's Bright Awards competition is designed to highlight young creative talent and support the arts in high schools across Australia in years 10-12.

In 2021, we saw 67 schools participate in the competition with students submitting their Major Work projects. An incredible collection of entries were submitted for judging by a select panel of Billy Blue College of Design academic leaders. The judging panel awarded one winner in each eight categories a cash prize of $1,000 and their high school were also awarded $3,000.
The last two years has been a little different to previous years for teachers and students, with schools transitioning to online learning due to COVID-19. Design is a unique industry, and provides the opportunity to work from anywhere, which sets students up for a truly global career option. Now is the perfect time to take your first step towards a career in design and creative technology. Why not have your entire class enter we say!
