A group of Brimbank teens and young adults have created a series of videos showcasing community support, self-care and their vision for the future.
Brimbank Mayor, Cr Ranka Rasic said young people aged 10-25 who live, work, study or have a strong connection to the city of Brimbank submitted videos that showcased positivity during the difficult times.
"Despite all that they endured this year, together the youth of Brimbank were able to support each other and their communities through the #BrimbankYouth initiative," Cr Rasic said.
"The #BrimbankYouth initiative is an excellent opportunity to empower our young people as active citizens.
"These brave hearts have created strong connections and channels of support for their community, when it was needed most.
"Our Brimbank youth inspire positive change in our Council and are a beacon of hope for our future."
Capturing the voices, positivity and resilience of our local young people, the #BrimbankYouth campaign is a series of short video clips that give a snapshot of their day-to-day lives.
The videos were compiled into a three part series, highlighting community support, self-care and their vision for their future.
The campaign videos have been released via the Brimbank Youth website and social media channels.
