Brunswick stalking investigation

Police have released images of a man they want to speak to after two separate reports of stalking in Brunswick in June and July.

A woman was approached by a man outside the front of the Barkly Square Shopping Centre on Friday 26 June.

The unknown man asked the woman for her phone number and she declined and ran across the road to get away from him.

It's been reported the same man followed the same woman for about 30 minutes around the Princes Park walking track on Sunday 12 July about 1.30pm

She was followed to the Barkly Square Shopping Centre, where the unknown man again asked for her phone number and she went inside the shopping centre to get away from him.

The person of interest is perceived to be Middle Eastern in appearance, aged in his 30s, with a medium build and black short hair.

He was wearing a black jumper and blue denim jeans.

Anyone who recognises the man depicted in the images, or who has information relating to this investigation should call Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
