Bulleen man to face court on drug trafficking charges

Carrum Downs police have charged a Bulleen man with drug trafficking after he was intercepted in Frankston on Saturday night.

The 18-year-old man was pulled over by police on Peninsula Link just after 9.30pm.

A search of his car resulted in police allegedly finding a large amount of ecstasy tablets, cocaine and an amount of cash.

A warrant executed at the man's Bulleen home on Sunday resulted in investigators allegedly locating two kg of rock ecstasy and one kg of ecstasy tablets, an imitation firearm and over $40,000 in cash.

The man was charged with traffick a commercial quantity of ecstasy, traffick and possess cocaine, possess proceeds of crime and firearm offences.

The man appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court and was remanded to 10 February 2020.
