Bundanoon Unveils New Off-Leash Dog Park Amid Wagging Tails

Wingecarribee Shire

Dog drinking out of new dog fountain

Let's celebrate the completion of Bundanoon's new off-leash dog park together, this Saturday 19th August at 11am. Bundanoon dogs and their families are welcomed to enjoy the freedom of unleashed socialising and running. Try out the new water bubbler just for them! On-site dog-poo bags and bins keep things simple for sharing quality time with your fur-babies.

Council Administrator Mr Viv May will say a few words about the project and its meaning for the Bundanoon community.

Bundanoon Community Association will contribute pet-related prizes to add a little friendly competition to the day.

Those interested in responsible pet ownership can engage with Council rangers from the Animal Shelter who will bring their own dogs along and share tips on pet care, registration, microchipping, and basic obedience. They'll also offer advice on how to manage your dog in off-leash dog parks.

For those intrigued by canine training, the Southern Highlands Kennel & Obedience Club will showcase scent work demonstrations, providing a glimpse into the world of obedience training.

It's an occasion for the community of Bundanoon to come together and enjoy the great outcome of a project that came together smoothly from mid-June to mid-July 2023.

You're invited to join in the fun with your furry friends in celebration of another wonderful connector for the village communities of our Shire.
