Local residents and visitors now have even more reason to enjoy an extended stay at the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands, with a new café opening at the outdoor recreational destination.

The new facility provides an ideal place for families to stay longer, to enjoy quality food and beverages while relaxing in the natural beauty of the parklands.

The café complements the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands' popular features, including pools and interactive water play facilities, landscaped areas, BBQ facilities and amenities. The café is also connected to the adjacent Bradbury Multipurpose Courts, providing this much-needed service to the whole Bradbury Oval/Campbelltown Billabong Parklands precinct.

The opening coincides with the start of celebrations for the official start of the 2026/27 summer swim season at the Billabong.

"The Campbelltown Billabong Parklands is already a much-loved destination for our residents and visitors, and we heard from the community that a café was something they wanted to see here," Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Darcy Lound said.

"We listened to our community, and now we've delivered. Whether you're meeting friends for coffee, taking a break after a swim, or spending the day with your family, the new café gives people another reason to stay, relax and enjoy everything the Billabong has to offer," Cr Lound said.

As the weather continues to warm up, the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands is expected to be a hive of activity over the coming months, with plenty of activations on offer for people of all ages.

The Campbelltown Billabong Parklands pools will be open to the public from 10am to 5pm daily during October. The opening hours will then be extended from 10am to 7pm from November 2026 to March 2027.
