Camden creatives and businesses are being invited to help celebrate the region's volunteers, with expressions of interest now open for the Mayor's Volunteer Thank You Reception.
Taking place at Camden Town Farm on Wednesday 2 December, the annual reception will celebrate the contribution of local volunteers, with Council seeking event suppliers who can help make the occasion extra special.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Vince Ferreri, said the reception was an opportunity to recognise the people who go above and beyond for others.
"Volunteers are the heart of our community. They give their time, energy and skills to support others, bring people together and make Camden a better place to live," he said.
"We're calling on our talented local businesses, performers and creatives to help us give these wonderful people the thank you they deserve.
"Whether you're a musician who can set the mood, an entertainer who can bring the fun, a photo booth operator who can capture the memories or a local business with a product to share, we'd love to hear from you."
Expressions of interest are open to individuals and businesses from across the Camden area in four categories, including:
- Musicians and performers - set the stage with your sound and spark the celebration;
- Live entertainment - enhance the event atmosphere with engaging and creative live activations;
- Outdoor photo booths - provide guests with fun, shareable photo opportunities in an outdoor event setting; and
- Gifts - feature your product as part of our exclusive attendee gifts and raffles.
Expressions of interest close at 5pm on Friday 6 November 2026. Successful applicants will be contacted regarding their submissions and activity providers and performers must hold current public and products liability insurance, where applicable, of $20 million.
