FedDev Ontario invests over $1 million for Jombone Inc. to scale up and create 26 highly-skilled jobs
Matching the right people for the right job is vital to increasing productivity and growing Canada's economy. The Government of Canada is investing in the potential of Canadian businesses developing innovative solutions to staffing so they can scale up, create jobs, and seize new economic opportunities to thrive well into the future.
Today, Adam van Koeverden, Member of Parliament for Milton, and Rechie Valdez, Member of Parliament for Mississauga−Streetsville, announced an investment of over $1 million for Jombone Inc. to accelerate the commercialization of its digital staffing and HR management platform, and expand its market reach. The announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario).
Jombone's digital staffing platform leverages technological innovation including artificial intelligence, automation, and analytics, as well as industry know-how from professional recruiters to recruit, screen, and establish pools of suitable candidates. This innovative platform for employers and job-seekers is transforming how Canadians find jobs and companies find the right team members and manage their workforces. Furthermore, the system saves small- and medium-sized businesses money and time by hiring, paying and managing workers more efficiently through one system.
With this investment, the company will accelerate the development of its platform and adapt it for the U.S. market. In addition, Jombone Inc. will create 26 highly-skilled jobs in the Mississauga region.
