Canadian Space Agency Strengthens Ties at ESA Council

Longueuil, Quebec, - On -, Lisa Campbell, President of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), will join government ministers and senior officials from the European Space Agency (ESA) and participate in the Council meeting at Ministerial level (CM25) in Bremen, Germany. This meeting will set Europes space priorities for the coming years, marking a pivotal moment for international space cooperation.

Canada, the first and only non-European cooperating member of ESA, will announce historic investments and outline the specific programs receiving support. Our strong collaboration with ESA enables Canadian industry, academia, and government stakeholders to participate in a wide range of European programs in strategic areas like satellite communications, Earth observation, space exploration, space safety, navigation and technology development. Every dollar awarded to Canadian companies through ESA contracts generates over three dollars in follow-on sales, helping build Canadian businesses and injecting value into the Canadian economy.
