The ACT man clinched the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1629, held on Monday, 23 October 2023. Along with this substantial sum, he also bagged two consolation prizes of $1,000, which raised his total winnings to $202,000.
His remarkable run of luck began with a win of $147,491.96, his share from a division one syndicate in the Saturday Lotto draw 4403 on 30 September 2023.
Reacting to the news of his latest win, delivered by an official from The Lott, the man was in shock.
"Oh my god! Thank you! This is crazy. Just last month I won a division one syndicate share in Saturday Lotto. I can’t believe this. What a shock! I’ve been playing for more than 18 years with no luck and now suddenly, I get two wins in less than a month. What a memorable day!”
Discussing his plans for his winnings, the man revealed “For my division one syndicate win, I gave it all to my wife. I think with this prize, I’ll put some away for my children’s education. Then I’ll donate some and put the rest towards a holiday for my family.”
