Cannabis plants and car seized in St Albans

Public Order Response Team officers arrested two people and seized a car and more than 100 cannabis plants in St Albans this morning.

Investigators executed a search warrant at an address on Glendenning Street about 9.45am and discovered cannabis plants throughout the house.

A man and woman ran from the house and were arrested in a neighbouring property.

A Lexus SUV worth $100,000 and tobacco was also seized.

A 49-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, both from St Albans are currently in custody.
