Careers Day Event - WA Police Academy At Joondalup

The WA Police Academy is opening its doors to the public this Sunday, 26 October, for the 2025 WA Police Careers Day - a free public event for anyone interested in a career with the WA Police Force.

From 10am to 2pm, visitors of all ages are warmly invited to explore the Academy, meet police officers and staff, and learn more about the recruitment process, training, and future career paths.

Careers Day will feature a wide range of displays from various police portfolios and specialist units. You'll get an up-close look at the latest policing equipment and vehicles, including motorcycles, police cars, and the Tactical Response Group's Bomb Squad.

The Recruitment team will be available to chat through all questions relating to police officer and staff roles within the Agency. Certification of documents will be available for those wanting to start their application on the day.

In addition to the above displays there will be tours, Recruitment information sessions and live demonstrations throughout the day. Including the following:

• Bomb Squad robot demonstration

• WA Police Pipe Band performances

• Police Air Wing drone display

• High Risk Vehicle Stop demonstration

• Recruitment information sessions

• Guided tours of the Police Academy

There will also be photo opportunities for the whole family with members of Air Wing, Mounted, and Canine sections, a classic sausage sizzle, and plenty of interactive activities for people looking to Join Forces.
