Charges Laid for Property Offences in Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police have arrested 4 youths following property offences in Tennant Creek.

The youths, aged 11, 12, 14 and 17 were arrested across the weekend in relation to an unlawful entry at a residential premises in Ambrose Street and a criminal damage and trespass incident at a commercial premises on Peko Road.

The 11-year-old was charged with:

  • Trespass on enclosed premises
  • Criminal damage

The 12-year-old was charged with:

  • Trespass enclosed premises
  • Criminal damage
  • Aggravated unlawful entry
  • Stealing

The 14 and 17-year old's were charged with:

  • Aggravated unlawful entry
  • Stealing

All were bailed to appear in court on 22 May 2023.
