Check Out UC's Latest Innovations

In an era of constant innovation, the University of Cincinnati's College of Arts and Sciences raises the bar high as they host the second annual Discovery in Action Showcase March 31.

This event will feature presentations of projects by faculty, researchers and students representing the Portman Center for Policy Solutions, UC's Field Center, the Arts and Sciences Co-op program, various language studies and many of the other areas of study that fall under the umbrella of arts and sciences.

College of Arts and Sciences Dean James Mack said the showcase gives participants the opportunity to show off their research, student projects, implementable policies and more, while educating those in attendance on the other types of work taking place in the college.

"We need to focus on who we are as a society and what we're doing as a society," Mack said. "My hope is we're doing more than just what we do for a living."
