CHOP Partners with YouTube to Create Informative Vaccine Videos

CHOP BuildingToday, YouTube announced a new partnership with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American College of Physicians to create informative vaccine videos for the popular video platform. This new venture is part of YouTube's commitment to dispelling vaccine misinformation and providing trusted, science-based information.

Paul A. Offit, MD, Director of the Vaccine Education Center and an attending physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, will be featured in 15 videos that will focus on common questions about pediatric vaccines. In some cases, he will be featured alongside other influential pediatricians to help provide science-based information and dispel common myths.

The video content produced by the partnerships with CHOP, the AAP, and ACP will feature some of the world's top vaccine experts to explain the science and advice about vaccines, so families can make informed decisions with accurate and understandable information.
