City of Casey Seeks Community Input on Playground Upgrades

The City of Casey is excited to announce upcoming playground upgrades at Timbarra Park in Berwick and Waterbush Crescent Reserve in Lyndhurst, with community consultation now open.

Council is seeking feedback from local families and park users on what they value in the current spaces and what they would like to see included in future draft concept designs.

The upgrades will transform the reserves into district level play spaces, featuring inclusive play equipment, new barbecues, shelters, seating, shaded areas, and enhanced landscaping throughout each park.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said "Hearing directly from our community helps ensure we're designing spaces that feel welcoming and inclusive, and are representative of the people who call Casey home."

The upgrades form part of Council's Open Space Strategy, which focuses on delivering engaging, inclusive and high-quality public spaces across the municipality.

Community consultation is open until Sunday 19 April 2026.
