The popular City of Melton Night Markets return in 2026, bringing with them an exciting celebration of global street food, market stalls, and vibrant cultural performances.
This year's Night Markets will feature a travelling series, popping up at five locations across the City throughout April, May and June.
The series will kick off in Aintree on Friday 10 April, running from 5pm to 9pm, at the HomeCo. Woodlea Town precinct. Attendees can enjoy a lively entertainment program featuring Bollywood dancers, Japanese Taiko drummers, Polynesian performers, and a headline Afro-fusion set by One Spirit Africa.
Families can take part in a Japanese drumming workshop, enjoy face painting, meet colourful roving entertainers, and soak up the atmosphere as DJ Rush provides a soundtrack of global beats throughout the evening.
A diverse range of international cuisine will be on offer and there will also be market stalls to browse with, 3D printed toys, jewellery, candles, hand-made skincare products and more. Local businesses will also be open to explore, with exclusive event deals on offer throughout the evening.
