Olav Rooyackers and Nicolas Tardif , researchers at the Division of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology - CLINTEC, have initiated a research collaboration with Arla Foods Ingredients and Novonesis. The project is funded by the companies with a total of SEK 6.3 million.
The aim is to develop a novel nutritional protein that can support patients in acute catabolic states, situations in which the body breaks down tissue faster than it can rebuild it.
