Collision between pedestrian and cyclist

Perth Police are investigating an incident that occurred yesterday, Sunday 21 February 2021 involving a pedestrian and cyclist.

About 11.25am, a female jogger and a male cyclist collided whilst on the shared path for pedestrians and cyclists on the Narrows Bridge from South Perth towards David Carr Memorial Park.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, received serious head injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital. The male cyclist received cuts and bruises and was treated at the scene.

Police wish to speak to anyone who saw the incident, or has dash-cam vision of the collision. Anyone with information relating to this incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
