May 24 2022 Eleven important community projects will receive funding through Round 2 of Albury City Council's Community and Cultural Grants Program 2021/22. The program provides not-for-profit community groups and individuals with funding to undertake community and cultural programs that develop community capacity, meet a community need or provide the community with a cultural experience. AlburyCity Mayor Kylie King congratulated the worthy recipients. "I'm proud to see such great initiatives being spearheaded by individuals and groups within our community." "My fellow Councillors and I are proud to support these programs and activities that will provide valuable community and cultural experiences," Mayor King said. A total of $29,290 will be provided across the sucessful applicants, including: - Filipino Australian Community of Albury Wodonga (FACAW) - Fiesta Filipina 2022

- Bricks on the Border - Brickmuster 2022
- SwimTech - Refugee Swim Lesson Appeal
- Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS) - Albury Wodonga African Festival
- Aunty Edna Stewart - Dyiraamalang Elders Group community cultural exchange program
- Albury Wodonga Theatre Company - Access to the arts for low SEO schools
- Albury Wodonga Volunteer Resource Bureau - Multicultural Community Lunch
- Bhutanese Australian Community Support Group Albury Wodonga (BACSGAW) - Seniors and Women's Capability Building Project 2022
