Fairfield City is a place full of creativity and community spirit; and this year's Capture Fairfield Visual Arts & Photography competition has once again shown just how talented and passionate our community really is about our City.
The 2025 competition invited participants to interpret the theme 'Discover Fairfield – Festivals, Food and Family Fun'. Every submission tells a unique story about what makes our City so special. Thank you to everyone who took part and shared your experiences in our City.
I encourage you to check out our exhibitions on display at Council's Administration Centre and Whitlam Library, Cabramatta starting on Monday. I hope they inspire you to get involved in next year's competition!
We're also excited to celebrate Local Government Week from Monday 4 August to Sunday 10 August, alongside councils across NSW. This is a great chance for you to learn more about the wide range of services we provide, and to meet the people who make it all happen.
This year our mobile offices are back giving you the chance to chat with Council staff face-to-face. Come by, say hello, ask questions, and share your thoughts as we are here to listen.
