Concern for welfare of mother and newborn child - Surry Hills

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman and her newborn child missing from Surry Hills.

Dakota Cutmore, aged 30, was last seen in the Sydney CBD with her newborn child last Wednesday (17 August 2022).

When she failed to attend appointments, officers attached to Surry Hills Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for the welfare of Dakota and her two-month-old daughter.

Dakota is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm tall, of slim build and has long dark hair.

Police believe Dakota may be in the Waverley, South Coogee, or Randwick areas.
