In June 2017, four people including a 51-year-old senior Rebels bikie member, were charged with the abduction and torture of a man in his 20s, WA Police say.
Further investigation of this incident by Gang Crime Squad detectives, resulted in four people being charged earlier this month with Conspiracy to Defeat the Course of Justice stemming from the original incident.
It will be alleged they conspired to thwart the justice process during the criminal proceedings of the June 2017 incident.
The four people, consisting of a 55-year-old man from South Perth; a 68-year-old woman from Bassendean and two men aged 29 and 52 who are currently in prison, are due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 21 November 2018.
