There are 365 COVID-19 cases in hospital in Victoria - with 28 active cases in ICU, including 13 on a ventilator, and an additional 27 cleared cases in ICU.
5,895,418 vaccine doses have been administered by Victoria's state-commissioned services, with 9,371 administered yesterday at state-run centres. 343 of the doses administered yesterday were for children aged 5 to 11 years.
54.5 per cent of Victorians aged 18 and over have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. 93.8 per cent of Victorians aged 12 and over have had two doses. 53.6 per cent of Victorians aged between 5 and 11 years have had one dose.
6,280 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded yesterday. This includes:
- 4,214 who tested positive on a Rapid Antigen Test
- 2,066 who returned a positive result on a PCR test.
Sadly, the Department was notified yesterday of 20 deaths of people aged in their 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 100s. Of these deaths, three occurred in the past two days and a further 14 occurred in the past week. The remaining three deaths occurred in late January and early February.
This brings the total number of deaths in Victoria since the pandemic began to 2,367.
There are 48,420 active cases in Victoria.
18,347 PCR tests were processed yesterday. The total number of PCR tests performed in Victoria since the pandemic began is 19,327,504.

Easing of some restrictions now in effect
From 6pm last night, Friday 18 February, density limits in hospitality and entertainment venues are removed and QR code check-in requirements at retail venues (including supermarkets), schools (including childcare and early childhood) and for employees at many workplaces are lifted.
Dancing at indoor venues has now also resumed.
QR code check-in requirements now only apply in vaccinated economy venues where you are currently required to show your vaccination status, including entertainment, hospitality, adult/higher education, hairdressers, community premises, physical recreation premises and nightclubs. All workers, visitors and customers must check in to these venues.
