Regional Investigations Unit detectives have charged a 16-year-old boy as a result of their investigation into an armed robbery in Cottesloe on 5 December 2019.
It is alleged about 5.45pm, the boy armed with a rock, threatened staff and demanded cash at a licensed premise on Stirling Highway.
It is further alleged the youth did not steal any cash but stole several packets of cigarettes before fleeing on foot.
The 16-year-old boy from Armadale has been charged with Armed Robbery and he is next due in the Perth Children's Court today, 6 December 2019.
