Council Endorses Financial Plans and Policies for Public Exhibition

Councillors endorsed the draft Integrated Planning and Reporting suite of documents for community consultation at an Extraordinary Meeting in Cooma, Thursday 11 May 2023. Together, these documents and policies lay out scenarios for the future of Snowy Monaro Regional Council.

Councillors resolved to put the suite of documents on exhibition for 28 days from Monday 15 May 2023, closing on Monday 12 June 2023. Council will undertake a range of community consultation and engagement activities within the public exhibition period.

These documents on public exhibition are:

  • Fees and Charges 2023-2024
  • Revenue Policy 2023-2024
  • Revised 2022-2026 Delivery Program
  • Operational Plan 2023-2024
  • Revised Long Term Financial Plan 2023-2033

A further report to consider the submissions, and adoption of the final documents, will be presented to an Extraordinary Meeting on Thursday 29 June 2023 at 1pm. Councillors look forward to hearing the sentiments of the community.

Council also formally acknowledged the work of staff in developing the suite of documents.
