Council Partners With App for Simple Reporting

Ararat Rural City Council has partnered with Snap Send Solve, a free and easy-to-use mobile application designed to empower residents to quickly and efficiently report issues.

The Snap Send Solve app allows users to simply "snap" a photo of an issue, add a brief description, and "send" it directly to Council.

This user-friendly platform will make it easier for Ararat Rural City residents to report issues such as potholes and road damage, dumped rubbish and litter, graffiti and vandalism, damaged or faulty streetlights, overgrown vegetation, park and playground maintenance concerns.

The Snap Send Solve app is free to download and available on both iOS and Android devices. Residents are encouraged to download the Snap Send Solve app and start using it to report non-urgent issues directly to Council.

For urgent matters requiring immediate attention, residents should continue to contact Council directly by phone on (03) 5355 0200.

"Snap Send Solve provides a straightforward and quick method for our residents to report issues directly to us," says Ararat Rural City Council CEO, Dr. Tim Harrison.

"Receiving accurate information helps our staff address and resolve reported issues faster. We believe this app will enable the community to play an active role in keeping our municipality clean, safe, and well-maintained, significantly improving how we prioritise maintenance."
