Council's plan for Wednesdays

Do you need to catch up with Council to discuss a planning matter? Council's planning staff will be visiting Robinvale every Wednesday and are available for appointments.

Weekly visits to Robinvale will give developers and the community a chance to organise pre-application meetings, discuss future developments and ask planning-related questions.

Swan Hill Rural City Council Director of Development and Planning Heather Green said the visits were designed to ensure Robinvale people had easy access to Council planning services and staff.

"We know there is plenty of development happening in and around Robinvale, and we want to make the planning process simpler by having knowledgable staff on the ground," she said.

Council's Building team and Environmental Health team also visit Robinvale weekly.

During weekly visits Council's Building team takes appointments for building related enquiries, lodgments of building permit applications and they undertake building inspections.

The Environmental Health team visit to inspect food and health facilities as well as septic tank inspections.
