Orange Council
Council are seeking suitably qualified contractors to undertake a culvert extension on a dual cell culvert on the Molong Road (Mitchell Highway).
The culvert is situated over Ploughmans Creek.
The culvert extension, including road widening, guardrail, and stormwater infrastructure will facilitate the construction of a shared path between the Northern Distributor Road and Murphys Lane.
The scope of works includes the construction of a concrete base slab, placement of culvert units and all other necessary components including, but not limited to, the following:
- Preliminary works including site survey works, site establishment, stakeholder communication and preparation and submission of project control plans;
- Fence removal and disposal
- Construction of concrete base, apron, headwalls, retaining wall, and guardrail plinth;
- Transportation and Installation of precast box culvert units (Council supplied)
- Stormwater supply and construction
- Guardrail design, supply, installation
- Fence supply and construction
