COVID-19 update 17 February

City of Port Phillip
The latest COVID-19 announcements

The Victorian Government has announced that the five-day circuit-breaker lockdown will be ending as scheduled at 11.59 pm on Wednesday 17 February. After this time, we will largely return to the previous rules.

Restaurants and retail may re-open, as can community facilities, libraries, entertainment venues and all other public places, although some additional limits on crowd sizes will be in place.

The following restrictions will apply:

  • Public gatherings with friends and family are limited to 20 people
  • No more than five visitors to your home per day
  • Face masks must be worn everywhere indoors, except at home
  • Face masks are also required to be worn outside if you can't physically distance from others
