Cricket Australia confirms official charity partners for 2019/20 summer of cricket

The 2019/20 Domain Test Series is set to be a strong one on and off the field, with the 2019/20 Cricket Cares program locked in for another year.

Last season was the most successful yet for Cricket Cares, with the Australian Cricket family rallying to raise more than $1.98 million for charity beneficiaries.

Longstanding partners McGrath Foundation and Movember will continue for the twelfth straight year, with The Alannah and Madeline Foundation, Taverners Australia and Telethon rounding out our partners for the 2019/20 Domain Test Series, with all set to benefit from the second year of Gold Coin donations on day five of each Test.

Executive General Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, Karina Keisler said:

"Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our cricket community, more than $1.98 million was raised at Test matches for Cricket Australia's charity partners over the 2018/19 summer, a phenomenal effort.

"The money raised from each Test match this summer will go towards funding vital programs led by our charity partners who depend on this money to perform essential work in the community.

"We know how special our cricket community is and how important it is when they see the need to give back and come together to support such important causes.

"Gold coin admission on day five of each Test will once again be a key fundraising feature of the Domain Test series.

"It's another fantastic way for us to help give back to our charity partners and the cricket community, if we get to day five of a Test.

"Having a presence throughout the Domain Test Series is an excellent chance for our partners to connect with fans and educate them about the vital work they are doing in helping people in need."

Approaching the halfway mark of Movember, The Movember Cricket Association has already raised more than $110,000 to continue driving awareness and change to the health issues facing men in Australia, while the iconic Domain Pink Test will enter its twelfth year, continuing to grow momentum on the cricket calendar.

Volunteer tin rattlers will be present at every Domain Test match and fans will also be able to donate to all partners through online donations, or by adding a donation when purchasing tickets.
