Police Charge Three Men With Drug Offences - Riverina

Three men will face court after being charged with numerous alleged drug offences following the execution of multiple search warrants at properties across the Riverina region.

In July 2026, officers attached to the Regional Enforcement Squad (RES) commenced an investigation under Strike Force Frontek into the supply of prohibited drugs across Riverina area.

Following inquiries, about 9am today (Wednesday 9 September 2026), police from RES, Riverina Police District, and Southern Operations Support Group, executed simultaneous search warrants at homes on Gwynne Place Junee, and Bruce Street, Tolland.

During the search at Gwynne Place, police allegedly located and seized 44g cocaine, 11g methylamphetamine, 0.64g MDMA, and electronic devices.

Police arrested a 34-year-old man at the scene who was taken to Junee Police Station where he was charged with possess prohibited drug (three counts) and supply prohibited drug.

He was given conditional bail to appear before Wagga Wagga Local Court on Friday (11 November 2026).

During the search at Bruce Street, police allegedly located and seized 12.5g cocaine, $300, and electronic devices.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man at the scene before he was taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station and charged with Supply prohibited drug.

He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 5 tomorrow (Thursday 10 September 2026).

About 11am police executed a search warrant at a home on Truscott Drive, Ashmont.

During the search police allegedly located and seized 130g cocaine, 4g methylamphetamine, 21g cannabis, $4575 Australian currency, 3 vials testosterone, and 45 capsules anastrozole.

Police arrested a 32-year-old man at the scene before he was taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station and charged with possess prohibited drug (four counts), supply prohibited drug, deal with property proceeds of crime and possess prescribed restricted substance.

He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 5 tomorrow (Thursday 10 September 2026).
