Get ready to spice up your Saturday night, with Cultural Fusion set to bring a colourful celebration of culture, community and connection to Narellan next month.
Taking place on Saturday 10 October, 4-9pm, at Elyard Reserve and the Narellan Library forecourt in Narellan, this vibrant festival will celebrate the many cultures that make Camden such a diverse and welcoming place to call home.
Visitors can immerse themselves in a world of colour, creativity and connection, with the program set to feature:
- Cultural performances showcasing traditions from around the world;
- Food stalls serving up global flavours;
- Interactive and creative workshops;
- Family-friendly activities and entertainment;
- An inclusive space for the whole community; and
- Local business activations.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the event would highlight flavours from around the globe, cultural performances, creative workshops and plenty of family-friendly fun.
"Camden is a wonderfully diverse community, and Cultural Fusion is the perfect opportunity to put that diversity in the spotlight," she said.
"Whether you come for the food, stay for the entertainment or discover a new culture along the way, there will be plenty to see, taste and experience.
"It's going to be a colourful night of connection, celebration and community spirit. I would encourage everyone to come down to Narellan and enjoy it for themselves."
Cultural Fusion is part-funded by the NSW Government Stronger Together Grant.
