Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Ranked Among Best Pediatric Cancer Programs In Nation For 19th Year In Row

U.S. News & World Report has recognized Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center as the #3 pediatric cancer program in the nation in its 2025-2026 Best Children's Hospitals report. Dana-Farber/Boston Children's has been recognized as one of the top three pediatric cancer centers in the country each year since the ranking's inception in 2007.

"This accomplishment highlights our team's commitment to delivering expert personalized oncologic care to children and young adults, enhanced by the shared expertise and resources of two world-class institutions," said Dr. Andrew E. Place, Chief Medical Officer of Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.

Dana-Farber/Boston Children's brings together two internationally renowned research and teaching institutions that have provided comprehensive care for pediatric oncology and hematology patients since 1947. The Harvard Medical School affiliates share a clinical staff that deliver inpatient care and surgery at Boston Children's and most outpatient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

For the 2025-2026 rankings, U.S. News, together with RTI International, a North Carolina-based research firm, collected and analyzed data from 118 children's hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. Children's hospitals awarded a "Best" designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, compliance with established best practices, and level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care.
