Death After Crash At Sidmouth On 6 May

Sadly, a 23-year-old woman has died following a serious single vehicle crash at Sidmouth on Wednesday, 6 May.

Police and emergency services were called to the West Tamar Highway just before 9.45am, after reports a vehicle had crashed into a power pole.

The Mayfield woman was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition and has since died.

She was driving the vehicle. Her two passengers suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Our thoughts are with the woman's family and loved ones.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
