Are you concerned about your memory or worried someone you know may have dementia?

Dementia Australia is offering a range of support in Blue Mountains between 4 and 5 April 2022.

There are an estimated 161,600 people living with dementia in New South Wales. Without a medical breakthrough, this number is expected to increase to an estimated 345,000 people by 2058.

Dementia Australia courses are an opportunity for people living with dementia, their carers, family, and friends to attend free education and discuss the support and services Dementia Australia can provide.

Introduction to Dementia This session is an introduction to dementia, including an overview of different types of dementia, diagnosis, planning ahead and how to support someone living with dementia.

Communication and Dementia This session provides information on dementia, the way we communicate and how changes in communication can occur as a result of dementia.

  • Monday 4 April 1:00pm-3:30pm
