Uncover the secrets of the Red Centre's expansive night skies at the Dark Skies Festival in Alice Springs from 25-29 May 2022. Taking place at one of the region's most unique tourist attractions, Earth Sanctuary, the festival includes a variety of experiences to take star gazing to the next level.
As well as the chance to learn about astronomy, look through Deep Sky Telescopes and enjoy live performances, there is also an Under the Stars Dining experience, Bush Tucker Canapés with expert Rayleen Brown from Kungkas Can Cook, and the chance to sleep under the stars at the Sunset to Sunrise Sleep Over.
There will also be presentations on the Sun, Moon, Southern Cross, Orion, Pleiades and the Magellanic Clouds.
