Dive in movie set to be Super splash in Griffith

In the lead up to Australia Day in Griffith, locals are invited to beat the heat with a Dive in Movie on Saturday 21 January 2023.

Head to Griffith Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre (GRALC) to cool down while enjoying DC League of Superpets. Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime side by side in Metropolis. However, Krypto must master his own powers for a rescue mission when Superman is kidnapped.

Kick back and relax poolside with the kids at this fun, dive-in movie experience. All are welcome to bring pool floaties, camp chairs and picnic mats.

Enjoy live outdoor music by a local DJ from 2pm to 6pm followed by the movie from 6.30pm to 9pm.

Free entry via the side gates of the 50m outdoor pool from 6pm. Limited food will be available, but you can bring your own snacks and drinks. No alcohol or glass will be permitted.

Griffith City Council's Director Economic and Organisational Development, Shireen Donaldson is inviting families to enjoy the Dive in Movie experience.

"This is a great way to enjoy the warm weather with family and friends," she said.

"Watching a movie on the big screen while taking a dip in the pool sounds like the perfect combination and the best way to spend a summer evening."

Proudly presented by Griffith City Council and the Australia Day Council.
