Dive into Croydon Memorial Pool this summer

Grab your bathers and towel and head on over to Croydon Memorial Pool, which is now open for the summer season.

Croydon Memorial Pool has served the community since 1962 and is a family friendly destination over the summer months.

The pool doors will open from 6am Monday to Friday, and from 8am on weekends and public holidays, from now until Sunday 5 April 2020.

See the Maroondah Leisure website for closing times.

Croydon Memorial Pool has plenty of space – and shade – to lap it up or just make a splash.

Take a refreshing dip in the outdoor heated pool, get a group of friends or your family together for a picnic on the poolside lawn or learn to swim with one of Maroondah Leisure's friendly AUSTSWIM accredited swim instructors.

The centre's popular outdoor swimming pools, including a 50-metre lap pool and 20-metre learner's pool, are heated to a warm 26 degrees – a great option for early morning lap swimming and hydrotherapy. Group bookings are also available for group training or recovery sessions.

There's also a shaded paddling pool for toddlers, as well as plenty of undercover areas around the pools and in the grandstand and kiosk.

The facility also provides a summer venue for youth events, as well as school carnivals throughout the year.

Regular visitors are encouraged to purchase a pool season pass or 10 session pass and take advantage of other activities such aqua aerobics, with classes running Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, from 5 December to 28 March 2020.

And you don't need to be a member to enjoy all the that Croydon Memorial Pool has to offer, with casual entry fees giving you the flexibility to choose.

For up-to-date information, including operating hours, casual swim sessions rates or to purchase a season pass, visit the Maroondah Leisure website.

The Croydon Memorial Pool is located in Springfield Avenue, Croydon.
