The second Peninsula LIVE micro-festival is set to transform the Dromana Industrial Estate into a vibrant live music precinct from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 June.
The free, all-ages event will feature live music from over 30 bands across more than 10 venues, bringing four days of music, energy and community connection.
Building on the success of Pretty Snazz in the Nazz in Balnarring earlier this year, the event will deliver a curated program of free live music showcasing local artists and activating the precinct in new and unexpected ways.
"Dromana Weekender will bring live music, pop-up activations and creative moments to the industrial precinct in a fresh and exciting way," said Councillor Patrick Binyon. "It's a chance for audiences to experience Dromana differently while celebrating the Peninsula's local music scene."
Presented by Mornington Peninsula Shire in partnership with Live Music Office, OneMusic Australia and APRA AMCOS, Peninsula LIVE is a dynamic initiative designed to strengthen the Mornington Peninsula's music ecosystem by connecting artists, venues, businesses and audiences through live performance. This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Music Australia.
"Peninsula LIVE is about creating new opportunities for local artists while bringing communities together through live music," said Acting Mayor Councillor Paul Pingiaro.
The project highlights the important role live music plays in creating connected and vibrant communities.
Full program details and artist announcements will be released soon.
